Blackbeards Bahamas?

Commonwealth of the Bahamas

The great explorer Christopher Columbus set out to find a faster route to India. He ended up finding the islands of Bajar Mar or shallow seas. The date was October 12th, 1492. Now we know these small island as Commonwealth of the Bahamas. The ruthless barbarians living on these islands were luckily murdered by the Spaniards, so when the first English settlers came to the islands it was a wasteland. These good settlers landed in 1647, and were a group of English and Bermudian religious refugees, called the Eleutheran Adventurers. They founded the first permanent European settlement in The Bahamas and gave Eleuthera its name. They had many troubles with supplies, but a good relationship with mother England kept them alive. The islands was filled with trees and many different resources.

The fearsome Blackbeard

During the 1660's a bunch of raging pirates began pillaging the beautiful encampment of Eleuthera, and for the following 40 years the settlers were troubled with the fearsome pirate Blackbeard. He rampaged and slaughtered many civilians of the Bahamas islands. These innocent civilians were just struggling to make a living. But then in 1718 Woodes Rogers came with British warships and supplies and established order as the First Royal Governor of the Bahamas.
The isles of Bahamas must stay as a colony of the British. The British Empire need the resources and the importance of the Bahamas as a Trade Route.
